The UFA would like to thank the two people primarily responsible for the design and concept of the sculpture and the garden park.
THE SCULPTOR
Tyler Briley is a retired Scarborough Firefighter and an artist residing in Port Perry. Uxbridge residents may recognize his name from the Sam Sharpe bust he created that was installed in Centre Block on Parliament Hill.
THE GARDEN DESIGNER
Adam Hoover served on the Uxbridge Fire Department for 5 years. He is currently working for Stewart C. McElroy & Associates Inc., Landscape Architects. He has worked extensively throughout the GTA designing parks and gardens.
